You know what time is this ? It's time for a new Weekly Feature !
This time again, no featured artist. But i'm going to talk about the competition i have just started five days ago...

But before that, let's start with the featured artist and deviation of the week !

EDIT : S-sorry for make you worried guys. I think i just got scared with everything. Like someone say, if the competition don't get a lot of picture, i will extend the competition and not cancel it.

Anyways, like the title say.. I was thinking about cancelling the competition..

You guys going to say "WHY YOU WILL DO THAT ?!". I will explain myself really quickly :

- Like i say on the previous journal, i was scared to do a contest. Because not a lot will join, i will do this for nothing and stuff.
And i have the feeling this going to happen.
In five day, only two entries.. For a group with 800 members, that kinda sad...

But i understand my fault, i totally forgot the final exam is comming the next month and so you don't have the time to join the contest. That why i'm thinking of reporting or extending the finish date..

- I'm alone. Doing all this work is not easy, and this contest was not easy.
Because Sonic 4 ep 2 was at the start for me and not for the group.
This is a friend got me the game for a lot of work i did for him, and i have asked Sonic 4 ep 2.

But after a while, i decided to give this game to the OHS group. Because i was sure a new contest will make a lot of people happy.
I don't blame you guys. You guys are amazing, but i have this feeling this contest will be a fail. A big one.

So what should i do ?
Cancelling the contest and report it to a another date ? Or maybe extending the Deadline ? Or maybe don't touch anything ?
Tell me what you thiking of all of this guys. I hope i will recieve a lot of reply about that..

P.S : For the three people have already did a OHSCM drawing for this contest, your drawing will be saved. No worry.

The Official OHS Competition Month (ACT 02)!

Hi everyone! Due to the group’s quietness, we haven’t had an event or a contest.
I have decided to finally start the new One Hour Sonic contest!!

But before that, I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has joined the OHS group already..

+1000 Watchers and over 800 members. This is just CRAZY.

ANYWAYS, LETS TALK ABOUT THE CONTEST NOW.

This month’s contest we are going to give a special attention a game just come out..
Frist episode alone, the Blue Hedgehog have now him best friend during the adventure !!
You maybe figured this out, this contest will be about SONIC 4 EP II



Official OHS Competition Month (Act 02) --- TERMS & CONDITIONS

GENERAL

i) Members of OHS group can only enter.

ii) One BEST entry per OHS member (hence you can created as many Sonic 4 ep II pics as you want, as long you submit your BEST one at the end of the day).

iii) Members who have submitted '0' (as in zero) OHS drawings can enter.

iv) Every entry must be done within 60 minutes (with a leeway of 10 minutes extra time).

v) Recording your work via 'On-screen capture', 'Livestream' or 'Camera' is NOT ESSENTIAL. However I/we (as in my team of contributors/judges should they wish not to participate in the contest) will keep a close eye on every entry submitted. We will do our best to give an honest judgement on whether the OHS contest entry has been 'realistically' created within 60 minutes. Please exercise honesty in your drawing and we will keep the good faith and accept your entry.

vi) DO NOT submit works that are not your own. DO NOT submit works that are copied, traced or stolen. Use your common sense, cheating sucks and it gives you a bad image of yourself toward the community of artists who worked hard on their entries.

vii) Traditional (i.e. paper, pencil/pen, scanning or photo-shooting of drawing) or digital means (ANY graphics application) are accepted.

viiia) Every entry MUST follow the official OHS dimensions used in the gallery (i.e. Horizontal alignment = 600 x 800 or Vertical alignment = 900 x 720). NO EXCUSES. Should your entry be off these dimensions please adjust accordingly by cutting and pasting your work onto a new canvas with the horizontal or vertical alignments. It only takes a few extra minutes of your time. People submitting photographs of entries are the only exceptions to this rule.

viiib) ALL ENTRIES are to be SUBMITTED into the Official OHS Contest Entries folder. Please do this to save the team and I the hassle of having to moving entries into the correct folder.

viiic) ALL ENTRIES must be TITLED with the following tagline: OHSCM02 - [insert title of your entry here]. Any entry that does not have the requested tagline will be removed from the gallery. Entries will be added to the gallery once the tagline has been corrected.

Here is one example of a title from our first entry: OHSCM02 - Sidekick come back !

CONTENT

ix) Each entry MUST be related to the Sonic 4 ep II game. ( Exemple : If you draw Knuckles in your drawing, that not allowed. Sorry Knuckles ! ;u; )

x) Characters like Vector, Charmy, Espio and characters that never appeared in the Sonic 4 Ep II game are not allowed.

xi) No comic styled entries please (i.e. entries containing panels and dialogue).

xii) Dialogue/words on entries are not allowed. This is purely an illustrated art piece.

VOTING and DEADLINE

xiii) Voting will be decided by the general public of the DA/Sonic fan community. Anyone can vote.

xiv) Voting will be done in stages and split into tiers. The votes will take place on my page (Ludolik) or other contributors’ pages. Each stage will be given a 3 day grace period after it is officially posted online, no more than that. The whole voting process will take at least TWO WEEKS to complete - depending on how many entries we receive.

xv) The official DEADLINE is two weeks from today.

xvi) NO EXCEPTIONS on late entries. NO EXTENSIONS to deadline time and date.

PRIZES

xvii) The 1st will get a copy of Sonic 4 ep II on STEAM, the 2nd will recieve 100 points and the 3th will recieve 50 points.

xviii) When the winners are announced they will directly receive a private message on deviantART, letting them know if they want to give the prize to someone else.

xix) All winners will be given the privilege to have their work submitted into the special 'OHSCM Contest Entry Winners' folder for presentation and record.
